The generation Z is a new group of people in the society. Generation Z (also known as Post-Millennials, the iGeneration, or the Homeland Generation) is the demographic cohort following the Millennials. There are no precise dates for when this cohort starts or ends; demographers and researchers typically use starting birth years ranging from the mid-1990s to early 2000s and ending birth years ranging from the late 2000s to early 2010s. The changes in technology made they have so much difference than the other generations. I created the blog to talk about the generation, their behavior and the talk ways. As the oldest gen zers are coming into the workplaces. People have given more attentions to this group.
According to Forbes, in 2015 Generation Z made up 25% of the U.S. population, making them a larger cohort than the Baby Boomers or Millennials. Frank N. Magid Associates estimates that in the United States, 55% of Plurals are non-Hispanic Caucasians, 24% are Hispanic, 14% are African-American, 4% are Asian, and 4% are multiracial or other. The generation z is growing fast and for sure they are making huge influence on the world. Not only in the U.S. And, they are receiving more different culture around the world. According to US consultancy Sparks and Honey in 2014, 41% of Generation Z spend more than three hours per day using computers for purposes other than schoolwork, compared to 22% in 2004.The things are unbelievable to the older generations sounds not much to the generation zers. They spend a long time in the social mediums and get information from there. They have a lot of participations in the movement such as the racism, the right of women. The young people are really energetic in these problems. But as the more information comes from different social media apps, their time has been cut to very small pieces. The gen zers only have a short period of attention. They like to get all they need in a few second. And even 2 minuets to read a long text. The gen zers can always have their own cognitions.
The generation Z are having more attentions on educations than any other older generations. To NeaToday, a publication by the National Education Association, two thirds of Gen Zers entering college are concerned about affording college. Graduate from collage is a common sense of gen zers. Most of them and their parents wished gen zers can have a better life by having education.
