The generation z represents a strong power in spending money. Sometimes people spending more money than they own. They are the target of many shopping website and companies. By the predict of Barclays bank, in 2020s, the generation z will be the biggest consumer group. In America and Europe countries they provide 40 percent of consumption. They grow up with the rise of online shopping. They have a strong desire in shopping and likes to share the experience, give comment about the products. Then create more consumptions.
In addition to their role within the family, children are seen as an important group of consumers in their own right due to their individual purchasing power. Over recent years the use of the Internet by children has increased and they are commonly portrayed as confident and able users of Internet technology. Compare to the older generations, the gen zers don’t care much about saving money. Many of them always spending almost all they own because they don’t worry about the pressure of life. The new users of online shopping have a obviously trait on shopping habit. The fashion brands are more popular than traditional famous brands. They will chose the things best fit to them. Spend more on thigs they interested and hobbies. Smart phones, clothing, games are the most part in their distribution of money.
Now, the companies are trying to find out how to attract the consumer of gen zers. They compare the price and comment from multiple media and ask for the opinion of family and friends. Because they receive the information since they are child. The social media is still a big part to attract the gen zers. The ads in apps can make them put more attention on the product. They are a group focus on the quality. Many of them like to have individual customize.
The gen zers like to solve things fast, quickly. They like to finish the process to buy a product in a few minutes. The competitions of companies makes gen z get benefits. The self-check in supermarket is an example to be fast in shopping.
